ReMix Ideas launches business academy to support entrepreneurs
Little Rock, Arkansas (April 5, 2019) — ReMix Ideas announces the launch of its Startup Business Academy (SBA) in partnership with FORGE, a first-of-its-kind program designed to provide local startup businesses with the opportunity to “test drive” an idea to determine whether a concept is feasible.
“Many businesses fail by not validating their ideas early on with potential customers/clients. Our Startup Business Academy will teach the participants how to develop and test ideas in the marketplace and establish a suitable/sustainable business model,” said Benito Lubazibwa, ReMix’s CEO. “A critical component of the Academy’s mission is to help entrepreneurs determine whether their ideas are viable before making a significant investment of time and money.”
At the Academy, participants will learn to apply the concepts of Value Proposition, Customer Discovery, Pricing and Cash Flow, Branding, Financing, and Intellectual Property. During the 12-week course, participants will build products and services that meet the needs of the today’s marketplace and develop sustainable business models that work.
Participants will also engage in exercises, such as business simulation games, field trips, discussions, case studies and other engagements, to reinforce the key concept from each class.
The Academy will hold free information sessions: June 1 and June 8, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., at Philander Smith College. Attendance at this session is mandatory order for prospective participants to receive an application form.
Classes will begin July
20, 2019, 9 a.m. to noon, every Saturday for 12 weeks at Philander Smith
College.
