Health on the Menu equips new and existing entrepreneurs to build businesses that increase access to healthy foods in low-resource communities. Our goal is to support sustainable and economically thriving business models that improve community health and wellbeing.

In Arkansas, low-resource communities face high rates of food insecurity, chronic diseases, and limited access to fresh, nutritious foods. Nearly 1 in 5 residents struggles with food insecurity — not always having enough food at all times. This lack of consistent access to healthy foods increases the risk of chronic illnesses, such as cardiovascular disease and cancer.
