Three finalists named for “Battle of Ideas” Pitch Challenge
LITTLE ROCK, June 12, 2018 – Remix Ideas has selected three finalists to pitch their concepts at the “Battle of Ideas” pitch challenge event on June 22, 2018 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, at the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce.
Each of the finalists will have 5 minutes to make their pitch, followed by a three minutes Q&A session with the panel. After Q&A, the audience will select the winner.
$1,000 will be given to the winner.
The selected finalists to pitch their ideas are:
Mario A. Settles – Founder of trukPLEASE
trukPLEASE is a mobile APP that allows consumers to freely shop for items, in store and online, without having to limit their decisions based on their own transportation capacities.
Consumers can instantly request a truck to deliver their items with the touch of a button.
Alexis Jackson – Founder of Your Family Tree Doula Services, LLC
Doula services stand to impact the shamefully high national, as well as Arkansas’, maternal and infant mortality rate by providing professionally trained support during birth and the postpartum period. Your Family Tree Doula Services, LLC currently supports families during their postpartum period and will soon provide support to families during prenatal and birth period.
Cindy Hurst – Founder of The Black Hub
